The game

TurfTipster is a horse-racing tipster competition played for fun and bragging rights. You pick one horse in each race plus one daily banker; results are settled from the official outcome and the leaderboard scores everyone.

Entry fees and not gambling

Some competitions are free to enter; others charge an entry fee (shown before you pay). The fee is a platform service charge for hosting and scoring the competition. It is not a stake and is not pooled: no cash prize and no payout of any kind is made by the platform or the organiser — you play for a score and a ranking only. Because nothing can be won, entering is not betting or gambling. (If a prize were ever introduced, these terms and the legal position would change and you would be told first.)

Payments and refunds

Entry fees are taken by card through Stripe; we never see or store your card details. Fees are non-refundable once the competition starts, except as a goodwill refund at the organiser's discretion (for example if a whole meeting is abandoned before it begins). The organiser may waive the fee for individual players.

18 or over

Because the game is themed around horse racing, you must confirm you are 18 or over to take part. You confirm this when you complete your profile.

Fair play

• One entry per person — use your own real email.
• Picks lock at the off; results are entered by the organiser and may be amended if the official result changes (e.g. a stewards’ enquiry), which recomputes scores.
• Don’t abuse, impersonate, or pick an offensive display name. The organiser may remove an entry that does.

No warranty

The competition is provided “as is” for entertainment. Results and scores may contain errors; we don't guarantee availability or accuracy and accept no liability for reliance on anything shown here. Nothing on the site is betting advice.

Your data & leaving

How we handle your data is set out in our Privacy Policy. You can export or delete your account at any time from your account page.
